What is the best day and night face cream?

I am looking for some suggestions of good day and night cream that isnt too expensive. I am nearly 28 and my skin is quite dry/sensitive at times. I want a cream that smells good as i have been using a new Olay cream and it smells like vinegar!!! I have used Eve Lom and Creme De La Mer in the past but thats far too expensive. I want a cream that i can go into a shop and buy NOT cream that can only be bought on the internet. I like thick texture creams and they have to smell good.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand????
    Did you have a question?
    ok i don't get it.

Can I Use SPF Eye cream at night also?

I'm trying to get a new eye cream, and I'm leaning towards LA Prairie Smart Eye cream with SPF. The store at the Nordstrom told me to use only duing the day time AND if I use it at night It will be less effective. Is the spf in eye cream really important? I'm usually home all day so I don't really go outside that much, but I don't really see a logic that SPF eye cream won't work at night? I thought SPF is just an added ingrediant to protect me from the sun I see no harm in using at night. Was she just trying to sell me another night eye cream? Also, please let me know which eye cream you liked, I need some insights! Thank you!Can I Use SPF Eye cream at night also?
You should use an eye cream that has spf during the day (even if you're not outside much) and a more moisturizing cream at night.

Edit: The skin around your eyes is the most sensitive skin on your body, you should not use facial moisturizer on your eyes since they have different ingredients that can be too harsh for the area. Can I Use SPF Eye cream at night also?
dr perricone has a good eye serum and chanel has a great one in a gold tube. i believe both of these are newer products and state of the art. very very good.

spf is not used in night products. however, spf is critical in daytime products to over time protect against cumulative sun damage.

here is another beauty secret: ester C 1000, take one a day. you can get it at gnc. vitamin C is the beauty vitamin. i mean it.
I have spf in my all over moisturizer, not the eye cream. I put on my eye cream first, and then the moisturizer, and I put the moisturizer around my eyes. I think she was just trying to get you to buy 2 eye creams, one for daytime and one for night.
sperm has spfs and is free

Should i use retin-a only at night for uneven skin tone pigmentation and acne scar, can I apply other creams?

I would use it only at night, with no other creams. You do not want to use it too much because it can cause excessive drying. It actually causes the top layer of skin to peal off.Should i use retin-a only at night for uneven skin tone pigmentation and acne scar, can I apply other creams?
There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

Eating ice cream at night vs in the afternoon??

i have heard some people say that our body burn calories slower at night so eating too late at night will make us fat

is that true that our body will more likely to store fat at night??

suppose i eat an ice cream in the morining or in the afternoon and i can just burn all those calories, can i still burn all them if i eat it at night??

I LOVE ICE CREAM!!! =]Eating ice cream at night vs in the afternoon??
Eating snacks that are high in fat and sugar are the worst things to eat late at night. Think about it..eat a bowl of Haggen Daz, and go to bed..it'll go right to your hips...LOL. It's a better idea to eat treats like that earlier in the day, when your body is more likely to burn it off.

I'm ice cream's biggest fan... :)Eating ice cream at night vs in the afternoon??
The caloric content of food is the same regardless of the time of day. Whether you eat the ice cream during the day or night does not really matter. However, for physiologic reasons, it is not recommended to eat a meal (ice cream included) just before you sleep. You will be messing around with the regulatory hormones that have been programmed to work at specific times of the day.
yes, eating to much at night will make you gain weight

Try not eating anything at least 3 hours before you go to bed!!

If you want ice cream for breakfast, go for it!! E

What is the best thing for hot flashes and night sweats? OTC progesterone cream isn't helping.?

I am trying to avoid presciption hormones. What is the best thing for hot flashes and night sweats? OTC progesterone cream isn't helping.?
Women experience a variety of symptoms of menopause, but the hot flash is the one most discussed. During menopause the body produces less estrogen and progesterone. As a result, the thermostat in our brain, the hypothalamus, gets mixed signals: is it hot or cold? It is as if it cannot decide between these states. This oscillation causes our blood vessels to expand and contract on an irregular and unpredictable basis. With an increased blood flow in the body, a feeling of heat and a flush starts on the face, the neck, and continues to the chest. Some women perspire, others really sweat! Sometimes a chill follows a hot flash. You'd be cold, too, if you were hot and soaking wet in the middle of winter, and suddenly someone turned off the heat. Depending on the intensity of the hot flash, some women may get headaches, feel weak, dizzy, tired or lose sleep. Some may experience palpitations, skipped or erratic heartbeats. Remember to be sure to check with your health care practiioner before attributing any of the above symptoms to menopause. Hot flashes can be the sign of illness or medical disorders.

Some women report that they knew they were about to have the experience before it happened. An aura, or premonition, may feel like nausea, or a tingling or pressing sensation in the head. Some women become weak in the knees, dizzy and have to sit down. Others experience heart palpitations before or as the flash begins and while it's occurring.

The upper body, from the chest to the scalp, may begin to sweat profusely. You may also ';flush,'; that is, become red as you flash. Heart rate and skin blood flow increase, although internal body temperature may drop by as much as three or four degrees as the body struggles to correct the imbalance. After the flash, the body quickly becomes chilled as it struggles to regain its normal temperature. Most flashes last about three to six minutes, although it's possible to have one that goes on as long as an hour.

Hot flashes are sudden waves of heat that can start in the waist or chest and work their way to the neck and face and sometimes over the rest of the body. The upper body, from the chest to the scalp may begin to sweat profusely.

There's no real ';average'; when it comes to duration. Some flashes can last 15 to 30 seconds, while others from 3 to 6 minutes. Most women who've come through Power Surge have described theirs as approximately 5 minutes, but they can last as long as 30 minutes to even an hour. They can hit as often as every 90 minutes. While in the throes of perimenopause, I used to say I had a hot flash once a day -- ALL DAY!

Hot flashes are more common in the evening and during hot weather. Seventy-five to 80 percent of women going through menopause experience hot flashes. Some are more bothered by them than others.

Ways of coping with hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause can be found in other areas on the site -- with special attention to the Recommendations Page

How Long Does a Hot Flash Last?

Hot flashes may last two to three minutes or up to 30 minutes. They may occur several times a day, or feel like they're occurring all day! They can occur once a week, maybe never. Hot flashes may happen once or twice, or continue for up to ten years. No wonder women think they are going crazy!

    Who Experiences Hot Flashes?

Seventy-five percent of women experience some form of a hot flash. Hot flashes can be a nuisance and even debilitating (when extreme) but they may have positive side to them. Vicki Noble, author of ';Shakti Woman,'; a book about feminine power, suggests that hot flashes can be viewed as a natural cleansing of our body [I think most of us would rather remain 'dirty']. The increased temperature may be nature's way of killing off cancer cells and viruses that might otherwise lead to illness later on.

Hot flashes are rushes of heat primarily to the head and neck region occurring when blood vessels near the surface of the skin dilate. Some women have a premonition of an impending hot flash which may be felt as pressure in the head, anxiety, a tingling sensation, or nausea. The sensation of heat may also be widespread. The heart rate increases. Surges of blood to the hands can result in a tingling sensation. Following a flash, body temperature drops and many women experience a chill. There is no change in blood pressure at this time. About eighty percent of American women experience hot flashes at some time during menopause. They last mostly anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes but, in rare cases, can extend to a half hour or about an hour. They are associated with but not necessarily caused by fluctuating levels of estrogen since women who experience hot flashes and those who don't have been known to have the same levels of estrogen, according to Susan Weed in ';Menopausal Years';. Weed's book is an extraordinarily useful source for herbal information about hot flashes and other menopausal changes. Most women have hot flashes for a period between two months and two years. A smaller percentage continue to have them a decade after their last menstrual flow. The worst hot flashes are often experienced by women who have an abrupt loss of ovarian estrogen due to surgery, radiation or chemotherapy.

Thinner women may experience more hot flashes since fat cells convert hormones secreted by the adrenals into estrogen [in other words, it's wise to retain a little extra weight during meno].

Hot flashes are much less common in non-western cultures. Studies in Japan, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Mexico suggest that 10 percent or less of menopausal women experience hot flashes. The low incidence in Japan has been linked to high soy bean consumption which stimulates estrogen production, which is why many women have turned to natural plant estrogens, aka soy phytoestrogen / isoflavones, such as found in products like Revival Soy Protein , which is very high in soy isoflavones -- the magic inside the soybean that acts similarly to estrogen replacement therapy. In American society, about 75% of women will experience hot flashes. Many will be able to cope with them without using anything. Many others will have very difficult hot flashes that require some form of treatment. Night sweats and hot flashes can be tough to handle and can cause interrupted sleep, insomnia, panic attacks, anxiety, depression can lead to extreme fatigue and anxiety.

Hot flashes can be categorized as mild, moderate or severe. Mild flashes last less than a minute and produce a feeling of warmth with little or no perspiration. Moderate flashes are warmer, produce obvious perspiration, and last 2 to 3 minutes. Severe flashes causes profuse perspiration, generate intense heat, last longer and interfere with ongoing activity.

Clothes made of natural fibers (cotton, wool, silk) can disperse heat away from the body. It is more practical to dress in layers so that clothing can be removed and added as needed.

Hot flashes deplete our bodies of the B vitamins, vitamin C, and magnesium and potassium, so it is helpful to increase our consumption of these nutrients [don't forget Calcium].

Triggers for hot flashes include spicy food, hot drinks, alcoholic drinks, white sugar (sugar can also cause palpitations), stress, hot weather, hot tubs and saunas, tobacco and marijuana and anger, especially when unexpressed, Susan Weed reports.

The medical profession has generally ignored natural, less risky approaches to hot flashes in favor of HRT - Hormone Replacement Therapy. Alternative approaches tend to strengthen and support the endocrine system. Natural remedies work in conjunction with a healthy diet and adequate exercise and tend to work more slowly.

It is important when using herbs and vitamins to pay attention to our bodies' responses and to remember that natural doesn't mean we can take large amounts of a substance without thinking of side effects. Herbs are generally available individually or in combination in capsule or extract form. It is very difficult to prescribe exact doses for herbal remedies since every body responds differently. Sometimes it is useful to work with someone who is familiar with herbs and vitamins to get advice on dosages and adjustments.

For ordinary hot flashes, try vitamin E with dosages between 400 and 800 IUs daily [many women take 1000 - 1200 IU's, but in the case of vitamins and herbs, more is not always better. D-alpha tocopherol means that it comes from a natural source, but DL alpha means a synthetic. The vitamin E I use is mixed tocopherols.

One common regimen is vitamin E, 600 to 800 IUs daily with vitamin C. When flashes subside, take 400 IUs daily. Perhaps 50 percent to 66 percent of women will find Vitamin E effective. However, it may take 2 to 6 weeks before the effects are really felt. Women who are diabetic or taking high blood pressure medication or with rheumatic heart conditions should take vitamin E under a doctor's supervision [It's advisable that women with a history of hypertension not take dosages higher than 200 IU of Vitamin E at a time]. Do not take vitamin E with digitalis.

Bioflavonoid in supplements of 250 mg five to six times daily can help relieve hot flashes.

Herbs commonly used to alleviate hot flashes include ginseng, black cohosh, vitex agnus castii, blue cohosh, dong quai, *wild yam root* [natural progesterone, licorice root, false unicorn and sarsaparilla. Experiment with using one herb or several in combination.

Evening primrose oil alleviates hot flashes and promotes restful sleep. These benefits may be due to the gamma linolenic acid in the oil which is said to influence prostaglandin production. (Evening primrose oil is used to relieve premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and tenderness of fibrocystic breasts). Depending on the amount of primrose oil in each capsule, effective dosages vary from 2 to 8 capsules a day. (A Friend Indeed, November, 1985).

Chickweed tincture (25 to 40 drops) once or twice a day reduces the severity and frequency of hot flashes.

A few homeopathic remedies suggested by Susan Weed in ';Menopausal Years'; and Diane Stein in ';The Natural Remedy Book for Woman'; are Lachesis for mental irritation and hot flashes, Pulsatilla for hot flashes followed by intense chills and emotional upset, Valeriana for intense sweating and insomnia and Sepia for flashes that make you feel exhausted and depressed. Another excellent reference book is Dee Ito's ';Without Estrogen.'; See The Power Surge Bookstore for links to these books. See The Power Surge Library for transcript of these experts guest chats.

Drink several cups of sage tea daily. Use one tablespoon of sage per cup of water and infuse it for twenty minutes.

Many women get relief from OTC (over the counter) topical natural progesterone creams. It is a transdermal cream and is absorbed through the skin and carried directly to where it is needed. It is non-toxic and without the same sorts of side effects as synthetic progestins. Be advised that some women have problems even with natural progesterone -- irritability, anxiety and other issues while others benefit greatly from it. Stronger doses of natural progesterone creams are available through Pharmaceutical Consultant, Pete Hueseman, R.Ph, R.D. who can provide various modalities for progesterone supplementation -- all natural.

Acupuncture, meditation and biofeedback have helped women find relief from hot flashes.

Exercise helps to decrease hot flashes by lowering the amount of circulating FSH and LH and by raising endorphine levels (which drop during a hot flash). Even 20 minutes three times a week can significantly reduce hot flashes.

Slow abdominal breathing, six to eight breaths per minute, can bring about a 40 percent decrease in frequency of hot flashes, according to two research psychologists from Wayne State University. Women used this technique for 15 minutes twice a day and when they felt a hot flash coming on. (';A Friend Indeed';, April, 1993).

    In extremely hot flashes, try:

Black cohosh root extract, 30 to 60 drops [or capsules] when taken up to four times a day.

Ginseng has earned respect as a way to alleviate hot flashes. The most useful is panex sold as Korean ginseng or American ginseng. (';A Friend Indeed';, Nov.,1985). Dosages vary according to body weight. The easiest way to be sure what dosage you are getting is to buy it in capsule form. Use 500 mg twice a day for those weighing less than 130lbs., three times a day for those up to 160 lbs., and four times daily for those over 160 lbs. Ginseng works best on an empty stomach and can be taken before breakfast and before dinner. It is recommended that you not eat fruit for two hours after taking ginseng and that you take it separately from any vitamin supplement. It is not advised for women with high blood pressure or diabetes. Women with asthma or emphysema would do well to avoid ginseng because of its histamine liberating properties. Ginseng is also available in tinctures, teas and tonics.

Motherwort extract, 25 to 40 drops every four hours.

Royal jelly can be bought in Chinatown or in a health food store. Use 3 to 7 glass ampules a week.

Bee pollen, 500 mg, 3 tablets per day reduces hot flashes for some women. Sucking on a piece of hard candy has been known to head off a hot flash or moderate an intense one.

For night sweats, try homeopathic Nux vomica when you are awakened and feel chilled and irritable. Use all cotton sheets and natural fibers. Use 10 to 25 drops of Motherwort extract three times a day or upon awakening with a night sweat. You will notice a difference in two to four weeks. For prompt relief, use an infusion of garden sage. What is the best thing for hot flashes and night sweats? OTC progesterone cream isn't helping.?
get a fan or an air conditioner and a bottle of rubbing alchol.Put the alcholin a spray bottle and spray yourself while the fan is blowing on you.this is only temporary but it works.
There is no empiracal data supporting anything other than hormone replacement.

When washing your face at night, are you supposed to put cream on when your pores are opened or closed?

When you wash your face morning %26amp; night, you should be using warm water. Applying a moisturizer on open pores is better because it allows it to absorb and penetrate faster.. The same goes for your body, apply the moisturizer as soon as you get out of the shower when your pores are all open.

Usage of night eye cream. need advise!?

Hi i have dark circles around my eyes. I have been told to use eye defence or circle reducing creams by my friends. I checked and L'oreal has creams avaliable for day and night usage. I wanted to make sure if its safe to apply creams around eyes or on skin before going to bed? has any one done it personally and did it do no harm? i dont want to take risk as my skin is really sensitive and if things dont get better, atleast i dont want it to be worst.

thanks.Usage of night eye cream. need advise!?
Eye cream is a Godsend for people with puffy eyes or dark under eye circles. I have dark circles and I use eye cream every night religiously, and it really helps.

Just make sure that you are using EYE cream, not regular face cream. The skin under your eyes is very, very delicate, and eye cream is made just for it. You could irritate it if you use something too heavy.

And also, don't feel trapped into buying the $30 tiny little jars of L'Oreal eyecream- or any of their products for that matter. I buy mine (still a good brand- they even sell it at Sephora) for $5 at TJ Maxx.

    Good luck!

PS- The best thing you can do to get rid of those circles is to get lots and lots of sleep! And if you put ice cubes right under your eyes it will reduce puffiness too.

I haven't tried the Burt's Bees Night Radiance cream so I can't give you any input on that. I had dull skin but I noticed a difference when I used a brightening cream that had sunscreen in it. I have been using Anew Luminosity Cream on and off. My sister has been using Solutions Banishing cream all over to lighten up her skin tone and so far it has yielded better results than mine. Since I am an Avon and Mark rep., both products are from either brand. I hope this helps...

  • Eating ice cream at night vs in the afternoon??

i have heard some people say that our body burn calories slower at night so eating too late at night will make us fat

is that true that our body will more likely to store fat at night??

suppose i eat an ice cream in the morining or in the afternoon and i can just burn all those calories, can i still burn all them if i eat it at night??

I LOVE ICE CREAM!!! =]Eating ice cream at night vs in the afternoon??
Our metabolism system works slow at night. If you want to burn it, you can eat around 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. since our metabolism system works very fast at this time.Eating ice cream at night vs in the afternoon??
If you eat calories during the day, the chances of you burning them off during the rest of the day is high. You will walk around school/work, or wherever else you will go. If you are active during the day, you will have a great chance of burning your calories. If you eat late at night, you will go to sleep and the calories will just lay there with you, you will not be able to burn them overnight, you must be active. During the day is the perfect time to burn your calories.
well in the afternoon you probably do burn more because your doing something working, walking, or or doing something

in the evening fat can build up if you eat ice-cream in the evening because your not doing anything like you are in the afternoon.

But if your not doing anything at all at either times ice-cream can develope into fat because you are not doing anything to burn it off
Yes! It's not such a good idea to eat ice cream at night because your body will store all the fat etc that you're not burning off. I suggest you eat icream in the afternoon and then in the evenings go for a long walk or do some form of exercise.

I made the mistake of having a chocolate eclair at 11pm. Naughty me!
well at night you sleep. you don't exercise so u don't really burn calories at all. in the afternoon you exercise more then you do at night right. so that means u burn calories. if you want to burn calories then its best to exercise after eating ice cream. eat it whenever you want just make sure u burn the calories afterwards.
i think it's true.. when it's at night esp before you go to bed, fat builds up rapidly..

and after eating icecream in the afternoon i suppose you'd take in proportionately less for dinner...

    PLus

you usually get to move around at day time but stay still on the sofa at night..

so.. i recommend eating ice cream at earlier time of a day..
if you eat it during the day, you are using those calories throughout the day and burning it, if you do it at night, and not doing much of anything anymore, its most likely going to go to your a $$. I like ice cream too, I dont need to eat it all day and night.
No difference as far as I know

What do you think about using night creams - do they really help you age better? Is ';Anew'; any good from AVON?

I love the Anew Alternative line. Night creams do help. Consistency of using Day, Eye and Night cream will have the best overall effect. If you cannot afford Anew, the Avon Solutions and Avon Liiv Botanicals lines are both wonderful.

I'm using tazorac cream .5 and i was wondering should i put it all over my face each night?

i put Dove facial lotion after i put the cream on also, because my face is peeling and becoming red from the cream. unless there is something better to use....?I'm using tazorac cream .5 and i was wondering should i put it all over my face each night?
your skin is becoming red because tazorac, like the other drugs in that class, are very strong and your skin is getting used to it. if the peeling and redness are that bad, try only applying every other day until you can work up to daily. be careful with what you put on your face, if it's not oil free or Noncomedogenic (no pimples), then it can irritate your face and pores even more. also absolutely do not go out into the sun or tan.

Who would find eating strawberries, with whipped cream sensuous on a warm summers night with the one they love?

...nice, but on a warm summer's night, you can't beat the fun you can have with frozen peach slices.

...think about it...Who would find eating strawberries, with whipped cream sensuous on a warm summers night with the one they love?
This scenario is one that many find attractive. The allure of taking an object not usually found in the bedroom yet somehow still associated with sensuality (the mouth, the juice, perhaps even the shape) can add some needed excitement to spice up a relationship and get a little playful. There is a sort of intimacy created by turning an every day act into one that is new and stimulating. Willingness to approach ';sensuality'; in such a unique ways would indicate a strong relationship and create a bond between the lovers; a sense of going beyond the norm, of being daring and sexy. A note, however: if you plan on bringing edibles into the bedroom with you, be careful what you choose --and where you choose to put it. Items like whipped cream may be cool and sweet, but the sugar in it could cause a yeast infection if you aren't careful. Try flavored lube if you must spread the edibles on less traditional fare than strawberries.Who would find eating strawberries, with whipped cream sensuous on a warm summers night with the one they love?

    Pond Night Cold Cream?

Nivea reportedly makes one that is a good substitute.

Mustela also makes one, but it is more costly, due to having all-natural ingredients, not mineral oil. Instead it uses botanical oils like shea butter which cost a lot more. Which means it's better for sensitive skin!

But you can also make your own cold cream which will work just as well as Pond's, using this recipe:

    http://www.texasdrone.com/Recipes/Lotion…

If you don't want mineral oil in your homemade cold cream...I don't like it in mine... then you can use a heavy (but less irritating) vegetable oil such as:

    kukui nut,

coconut (warm up first to melt it since it's solid at room temp),

vegetable shortening aka Crisco (needs to be melted too),

    macadamia nut,

    peanut,

    palm oil,

I know that Arbonne products launched in your country this summer - they aren't 'cheap' but offer great results - they are also pure and natural - so with your skin sensitivity it may help.

Worth mentioning - I became hooked last fall (in the US)..
you can also try ordering it on-line or write the company in the US they may be able to send you some samples...
Nivea makes an equivalent product. Have you tried it?

I will pray that your liver is still functioning by age 40Im getting bailey's irish cream today 2 6 packs if i drank all of them in 1 night how drunk would i get.?
part of drinking is responsibility. Thats why there is an age limit to it. Know your limit, and do not submit to alcoholism. No need to get really trashed, you just look dumb. Get drunk with your friends and fun. Don't force them to take care of you.
i cant answer that question but i suggest something that i am positive everyone one will like... mix the baileys with vinilla ice cream and blend it its a fooking beautiful drink
let me tell you my friend VODKA + GINGERALE = GOOD TIMES :D id take the vodka over the irish cream anyways so im suggesting that lol
Umm HELLO who wants to get alcohol poison drunk? Are you just being dumb or looking for attention...

Good luck with that.. AND thanks for the two points.

Is it bad to eat ice cream 3 nights before a 5k race?

I had a strwaberry milkshake(not a big one) today and I have a race on tuesday, will this effect my race?

Also, I eat lunch at noon and my race is at 4:30 whats a good lunh to eat?Is it bad to eat ice cream 3 nights before a 5k race?
NO, the reason runners try to avoid dairy before a race is because it takes a while to digest, apart from that, any active person especially a runner, can eat as much as they want (within reason) without gaining weight. It isn't like that fat goes straight into your body.Is it bad to eat ice cream 3 nights before a 5k race?
I eat ice cream all the time before races. i honestly don't think it matters much, at all. Unless your like an olympian Report Abuse

although it's not good to have the milkshake in general, i don't think it's going to hinder you during your race if it's 3 days later. just make sure that you eat healthy during your training and during the season. after your season ends, then you can enjoy these foods as much as you want (though i wouldn't recommend too much junk food).

for your lunch, i would suggest you have a small sandwich (maybe low-fat peanut butter on it). not too much because you don't want to be full or digesting food during your race, but enough so that you aren't starving during your race. also, remember to drink a lot of water in the morning and early afternoon to stay hydrated and prevent cramps. if you drink before your race, you might throw up, so make sure that you do it a while beforehand. You will know you are hydrated when your urine is clear, not yellow. I also suggest you carbo-load the night before. Have some pasta, bread, etc. doing this the night before will give you more energy for your race the next day. Good luck!
3 nights before? No effect unless it adds a few ounces of weight.

One the night before? Might help. You want a lot of available energy that next day.

Same with lunch. Heavy on the 'carbs' for available energy,

but light in nature, and easy to digest, so your circulatory system is

available for running, not still trying to digest lunch.
No it won't make a differenc you had milkshake.

Breakfast have Weetabix (Wheat Biscuits) with fruit and milk. With a glass of Orange Juide.

Lunch have a light Pasta which is mildly filling and a glass of water with a pinch of salt and sugar. Although really that's a good remedy for a marathon unless the race you're talking about is a long distance running race.

If it is not long distance, feel free to eat burgers and chips a few hours before.

    Peace
No it won't effect your race, you could drink it the same day and it wouldn't have a negative effect.

Most anything you you eat at noon will be digested by 4:30. Just don't over eat and don't anything really heavy.
no, it'll be long gone by the time you have a race. I wouldn't make a habit out of it, but trust me, it will have no effect unless you are allergic and end up in the hospital. Is that what you meant? If it kills you, the race will be a problem...

    Best of luck!
of course its not bad. For lunch eat it at 1 pm and eat pb and j and a banana with water. maybe dry cereal too. Then do your warmup a little early and go to the bathroom and take care of your buisness
as long as you are hydrated you will be fine... have some good carbs the day before...

I usually have a lite lunch b4 the race
    Probably
    yes.

it'll probably slow you down by like 2-3 minutes.
well it will probably efect your race but when you eat lunch make sure it is not junk food eat like a sandwitch
you will be fine. it will prolly be gone by then
doesnt really matter now you already ate it
well it depends if you can burn it off no if u dont and u hav too much probaley then yes

Q Que is a great venue stinks abit since v smoking ban but u will av a great nite nobody will take any notice cuz most bods will be flyin their **** off anyway, kick back n enjoy if all else fails stand looking moody with ur hands in ur pockets n just sway ur head n shoulders mans bin doin that a drum n bass dances 4 years n got away wiv it so u go for it!!!! Have a good nite.
dont take drugs unless your into nthat kind of thing everyone will be drunk and high off there heads no body looks at how you dance unless you make a fool of yourself listen to the beet of the music flow with it shake your butt move your feet get drunk be yourself and you cant go wrong just have a good time and if you feel uncompfortable then take up dance lessons such as salsa hiphop rnb dance i do salsa and i can kick a** on the dance floor hope i helped.
Go with the flow and what feels comfortable for you! No point learning until you get there and see what the vibe's like.

Oh yeah I wouldn't take the advice from the plonker who told you to take drugs, unless this is what you would normally do, personally - they are not worth the risk to your health or to get a criminal record!

    ps I'm a down to earth 33 year old - not 90!

Enjoy your night and live life to the full
what kind of music will be played? if you tell me, then i may be able to suggest some songs you can practice to.
I think the best advice is to try and stay as simple and low key as possible - if you are not confident and try to get too funky it will show!

Perhaps if you don't have any similar music yourself you could tune into an internet radio station this week and get a bit more comfortable with it - the BBC Radio 1 site will have different radio shows to choosse to play - choose Pete Tong or Dave Pierce or something...

Try not to worry - i'm sure you will enjoy it and wait until you see the state that some people get into - it does wonders for your confidence when something from night of the living dead is dancing next to you!!

  • Girls so there is no need to buy a moisturiser coz day and night creams are moisturisers is this right?

It depends on how dry your skin is. Most people would be able to get away with just using a night cream, but an additional moisturizer would be a good idea if you are very dry.

What is the right age to use night creams?

im twenty three years old,i would like to take care of my skin.are night creams essential?i am a person who perspires a lot, when i wear a moisturising cream i tend to sweat it out...so i use lotion.is it necessary to use a night cream or the same lotion would doWhat is the right age to use night creams?
After washing your face in the evening, its better to leave your skin open to breath.May be you can use a toner in the evening after the face wash. What is the right age to use night creams?
there's no any specific age defined to use nite creams, they r essential 4 our skin coz our skins cells regenerate at nite times n nite creams help them to generate in best way, they reduce dead cells n makes skin glow, its not only dat we use cream on face but u shud apply cream or olive oil or almond oil over ur body too.
Night creams are generally heavier and are good for dry or aging skin. If you get dry in the winter only, use it in the winter.
why to spoil ur skin with chemicals... it'll lose its natural character...
The right age to use night cream is Nivea.
no after some years your skin will become dry and oily.
no don't use night creams it will make ur skin dry
    u dnt need it

  • Which is the best cream for use in Night for skin care for girls.?

Her skin is normalWhich is the best cream for use in Night for skin care for girls.?
    Cetaphil Cream-fragrance free

This is recommended by most dermatologists including mine, whom I saw just recently. Plus (I don't know if you're in the US or not but...) fact: the FDA has no standards for what chemicals are allowed in lotions, makeup, deodorants, toothpastes, and lip balms. Unfortunately, this means that there are varying levels of good AND bad chemicals in the products that we buy and use on our skin/mouth. This website (http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/) is really cool, you can type in the brand and product name of any hygienic product you use (whether it's a lotion, piece of makeup, toothpaste, etc) and the site has a large data base that gives you a rating, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst), of how harmful the chemicals of that specific product are to your health. Things like neuro-toxins and carcinogens. The site also gives you a detailed breakdown of what all the ingredients are in that product, along with definitions of what each chemical actually is and it's purpose, like ';fragrance'; or ';viscosity.'; Cetaphil's a great moisturizer/lotion; it doesn't clog your pores, it's hypoallergenic, and all Cetaphil products receive a 1 on the spectrum of 'harmful' to your health, from the website.Which is the best cream for use in Night for skin care for girls.?

Anyone who knows ? Can give me an advice ? ......Loreal Re-Lighting Whitening Day Cream %26amp; Night ....?
    most skin lighteners work for all types of skin;

    these are formulated to lighten skin;

you can still use your favorite skin care moisturizer with it. :-)

If a cream is supposed to be for the day can you still use it in the night?

You can use it at night, but it is probably recommended for day wear because it takes longer to absorb into the skin. If you wear it at night for 8 hours while you sleep, it won't be as effective as if you wear it during the day, for the 16 hours you are awake. If a cream is supposed to be for the day can you still use it in the night?
Sure you can. Mainly the difference between a day and a night cream will be the thickness of it. Day cream will be more light and water based and night cream will be a bit more thick. If a cream is supposed to be for the day can you still use it in the night?
I don't think a cream knows the difference between day and night and is going to absorb the same no matter what.
You can use it any time you like. might not work in the dark though.
yes just leave your bedroom light on and the cream will never know !!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL !!!!
Oh dear God - the questions on Y!A never fail to amaze me.
Yes, but you won't sleep as well.

If i use a ';day'; cream on my face at night is it the same .or is it true this day and night version of face

creams or is it just the label?what gives? If i use a ';day'; cream on my face at night is it the same .or is it true this day and night version of face
Depends on the brand. Your face replenishes itself while you sleep, so a serum that is specially formulated for this process, should only be used at night. During the day, you need a cream that protects your skin, has spf and anti-aging. If a cream is truly a 'day' cream, you are not getting the best results by using it at night. I recommend: Mary Kay Day and Night SolutionsIf i use a ';day'; cream on my face at night is it the same .or is it true this day and night version of face
It's called night cream because the night creams are heavier than the day creams, so most people wont wanna wear the ';night'; creams during the day, I used to think it will work better at nigth or something. And they prob. just want to make more money so you will buy more of their products.!!!
    they are different
A lot of day creams will have a little bit of sunscreen in them, which you won't need at night. And a lot of the night creams will use ingredients that are more heavy-duty. The night creams will do more moisturizing, but they'll also tend to make your skin greasier. But it doesn't matter, because you're sleeping.
Honestly, give me $20 and I will make a 4pm on the 17th of March cream.I will even makea years supply of it for a discount becuase you are such a special and valued customer.

That is what gives. If I can convince you to give me $ you get what you think you need and I get what I know I need.
Usually the night creams are thicker and denser than the day creams but it is perfectly fine to use a day cream at night and a night cream in the day. It's just that the night cream might be a little greasey under your makeup.
at night it is when the skin regenerates. it is then when it is clean, it is not prone to damage or dust anymore because you aren't outside, or doing anything.

so night creams are different, because they help the skin renew its cells, which keeps you young, while the day one only hydrates and is a base for make-up. night cream is usually more dense and has properties a bit different from the day one.
I believe that ';day'; cream usually is a bit lighter, can be worn under makeup, may also have SPF while ';night'; cream is heavier and has ingredients in it to help repair your skin overnight.
According to my wife, day creams are generally lighter and allow for application of makeup, etc. Night creams are usually a little more ';decadent';, meaning they will usually include more moisturizer, vitamins, etc. for replenishment while you sleep. It doesn't really matter. If you have time to walk around the house wearing night cream during the day, it's not going to kill you. It's just that most women prefer to have a shine-free face and be able to wear makeup without it smudging and fading all over the place during the daytime. If you are a dry, flaky skin-type, a night cream could be a real benefit to you (delaying the appearance of wrinkles, sagging, general loss of elasticity). Good luck.
    Huh?

Has anyone used Origins: Night-A-Mins line of products? Does it work? Such as the eye and moisture cream? Thx.

The eye cream is suppose to help elps de-crease the appearance of crinkly lines and getting-older signs. Also, the moisture cream does this: Let the hypnotic aromas of nature鈥檚 nightcaps summon the sandman. Newly-formulated with extra vitamins (including B-complex, C, E and A), extra minerals and exfoliating extracts, this mega moisture cream fortifies skin鈥檚 own nocturnal nature to help it repair damage done by day and rebuild itself to face tomorrow. Worn out cells are gently released to reveal brighter, more youthful texture and tone. Skin awakens rested, renewed and richly replenished. How to use: Sweep over face and throat at bedtime.Has anyone used Origins: Night-A-Mins line of products? Does it work? Such as the eye and moisture cream? Thx.
I've not used that particular product, but I have used Origins products and I love them. I would guess that product would work as well.

I have got a mixed kin of a skin or say a bit oily skin type, can i go for nevia night care regenerating cream.?

hi guys and girls.i have got a bit oily kind of a skin and a bit of pimples too.shall i go for NEVIA VISAGE NIGHT REGENERATING CREAM OR NEVIA MOISTURISING DAY CARE CREAM,WHICH ONE IS BETTER.CAN THEY HAVE ADVERSE EFFECTS???PLZ ANSWER THIS SOON. I have got a mixed kin of a skin or say a bit oily skin type, can i go for nevia night care regenerating cream.?
If you have oily skin and you have a few pimples the problem is probably that your not using enough moisturizer. You don't need regenerating cream. You have naturally oily skin which means your probably over cleansing it and as a result are breaking out due to your now dry skin.

What you need to do: Get a oil-free based moisturizer, toner, and foaming or daily face wash and a facial scrub.

Step 1: Daily Face Wash/ Foaming Cleanser

Use warm water to apply the face wash and remember to rub it in with your fingertips in a circular motion gently. This will help clear up the dirt or makeup on the surface of your skin and prepare your pores for toner.

    Step 2: Toner

Use cleansing pads to buff away dead skin and bacteria that causes pimples. Be thorough in this step.

    Step 3: Apply Moisturizer ****IMPORTANT****

Use the oil-free moisturizer to put back into your skin what you took out...(Apply to face and neck.)

    Step 4: Facial Scrub

Use the facial scrub 2 times a week but no more than that or you will dry out your skin. Scrubs are good for detoxifying the skin and getting down deep to remove excess oil and dirt that accumulate.

Products I recommend that will work for you: Clinique, Neutrogena, and Nivea.

Tips for keeping your skin clear:

-Keep your hands clean and avoid touching your face.

-Try to avoid heavy makeup like foundation that will clog your pores.

    -Stress makes pimples :)

Take one and half teaspoon of sodium benzoate.

    One medium size avocado.

Grate the avocado and squeeze out its juice. Mix it with almond oil thoroughly. Melt the Beeswax and add it to the mixture. Apply on the face before going the bed and wash the face in the morning with lukewarm water.
I use OLAY for the night... it's soft (not greasy at all) and i like the smell

What is the best product to use at night after cleansing ur skin, do u need to put eye cream as well?

if you have a problem skin only then you need to use all that stuff...if you do not have a problem skin...drinking lots of water and fruit juices would have you rejuvenate your skin....

if you want to apply use a non oily moisturiser....if you dont have dark circles don't use eye cream....

good luckWhat is the best product to use at night after cleansing ur skin, do u need to put eye cream as well?
I am 30 %26amp; use eye cream I have for over 5 years now. I use Avon products because I have found that they are cheaper than anything you can buy in a store %26amp; they work just as good %26amp; sometimes better. What is the best product to use at night after cleansing ur skin, do u need to put eye cream as well?
It depends how old you are... L'Oreal do a range of skin care for any age, check out their website to see what works best for you. www.loreal.com

If you are young then you don't need eyecream, just use the bare essentails on young skin.
is imply use soap and water
Always moisturize after cleansing. Use a product that is formulated for your skin type (oily/combination/normal/dry). The earlier you use eye cream, the longer it will be til you see wrinkles. You will see the best results when you regularly cleanse and moisturize. Also, using the same brand of products means you will get better results- they are made to work together.

  • So i'm using this product for my acne called oxy peroxide benzoyl, i put on the cream at night and during day

but when i wash my face it gets a little dry, so im thinking of putting on moisture lotion, but im confuse do i put on the moisture lotion the same time i have the oxy cream on, meaning i cover over the oxy cream? or do i wait till i wash my face and then put on the lotion, but since i put on the oxy cream during the day for about 8 hours and during the night for about 8 hours, that means it's pretty much the whole day, how do i get the time to even put on the moisture lotion, if i do put it on, how long should one puts on the moisture lotion? ALSO i think because i'm extensively using oxy cream, it's irritating my skin creating reddish bump, i keep on using the oxy cream over it, but it doens't flatten out, what do i do? should i put on moisture lotion on the bump?So i'm using this product for my acne called oxy peroxide benzoyl, i put on the cream at night and during day
You're over-drying your skin, and the bump is likely a cystic acne bump. The swelling can go down if you put cold compresses on it on a regular basis; don't squeeze it, however, as that might lead to scarring. The cold compresses should flatten the bump if used each night.

Get a gentle moisturiser; Oil of Olay Complete Sensitive is good for most skins. After washing your face, put this moisturizer on your entire face.

At night, after cleansing, put the moisturiser on. Let it sit for a minute or so. On the parts of your face you have acne, apply the benzoyl peroxide lotion with a q-tip to your acne (not all over--just on the pimples).

This should help with the dryness.

Unless you're constantly breaking out, you really don't need to apply oxy all over your face--only on your pimples. It might help to use a mild scrub 1-3x per week; add some baking soda to some water, and put that on your oily parts in the shower; let it sit for 1-2 minutes; scrub gently, and rinse off. Follow with moisturiser.

I hope this helps! So i'm using this product for my acne called oxy peroxide benzoyl, i put on the cream at night and during day

Oxy is supposed to ';dry up'; the pimple, but if it actually makes things worse then you should just stop using it and switch to something else (no point using a moisturizer to counteract its effects cos that'll simply defeat the purpose of using it in the first place).
I just read another post about this same product! I highly recommend using Clinique's ';Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief';. I know it seems really expensive for what you get, but trust me it lasts a very very very long time because you only need a little bit (and I have very dry skin). Also, it isn't greasy or pore clogging! Make sure you let your doctor know about the bumps and ask him/her about when to apply moisturizer or it might say on the directions or info. insert (or ask a pharmacist).

Is there any REALLY good products for blackheads? Night Creams? Face Wash?

I went on accutane in high school and have not had a pimple since...jelous? Anywho, i DO have problems with blackheads on my nose, chin, and jaw bone.

Hoe do i extract them safely and what can i use to prevent them?Is there any REALLY good products for blackheads? Night Creams? Face Wash?
I use the pore refining ';neem'; mask from bath and body works and it works good for me.Is there any REALLY good products for blackheads? Night Creams? Face Wash?
Biore's nose strips...they also have them for foreheads and chin...and then buy their blemish-fighting foam. it really works well!
Blackheads are the result of dirt, skin cells, oil, and makeup settling in your pores. To prevent them, first use a good cleanser morning and night, a toner or astringent made for your skin type, and something to gently exfoliate. When you exfoliate, you are ridding the surface of your skin of dead skin cells that would settle into pores causing blackheads. This will also help ';extract'; them safely. Squeezing will only irritate your skin.
A couple of weeks ago i really hated my skin but now it is perfect and i used products by T-zone.. The daily wipes and Blackhead pads are brilliant, you can see there products at www.t-zone.co.uk, trust me, they are brillaint and it makes you look soo much prettier and attractive! I feel great without make-up now!
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

I'm 15, am I suitable to use a vit E rich night cream with antioxidant?

I have a combination skin and a few zits but it says for all face type. IT also contains rich wheat oil and beeswax. My friend says Im too young for night cream, is it true? By the way, how does antioxidant helps your skin?I'm 15, am I suitable to use a vit E rich night cream with antioxidant?
You might be too young for the kind of night cream your friend is thinking of, but that's no reason not to try it. It's probably worth using because vitamin E is vital for the skin and you'll probably find it works wonders, although letting the skin breathe is important too. Try it for a month. Your skin is young so it shouldn't need too much of this sort of treatment, but unless you're allergic to an ingredient no harm should come of trying it and getting into the very good habit of it. When you're older, your skin really will need it.I'm 15, am I suitable to use a vit E rich night cream with antioxidant?
Of course it's suitable for you to use, and it's a great product to use. Antioxidants help your skin by removing free radicals and makes your skin fairer and healthier.

I can help, 15? Perfect for creating life long habits, check you intake first, eight glasses of water a day, every day, measure it out for the day, that's the easiest way. Next Nutrogenia has a wonderful soap for combination skin, and as it changes go to regular skin type Nutrogenia soap. Wash with cool water, use soap for about a minute, gently rubbing with your fingertips, a small baby's washcloth, and rinse and rinse very well. pat dry. 2 or 3 times a day. next don't eat greasy foods, eat 3 fruits (lemons are the best) oranges, apples, and next 3 veges every day. small portions if you don't care for your veges. light on the meat...only one peice of bread or oatmeal everyday...also walk for half an hour 5 to 7 times a week...never drink any kind of sodas, diet or regular type. also take omega 3-6 a few times a week, sometimes when our bodies are oily they can be regulated by taking an oil, our oils are overcompensating for the dry parts of our skin, seems backwards but a dermatologist told me this a long time ago and it was right! The best lotion for the face is Lubriderm, sold at walmarts...I use the type for extra-dry skin...that is also dermatologist recommended...and don't put your hands on your face thru the day, as a young person you probably don't even notice that you are doing it, bare minerals make up is the best kind, check out their bronzers for an extra look of health....see how much really goes into looking the very best possible...good luck....

It's 1:30 AM - what major fast food restaurants are open all night that have ice cream?

What major fast food restaurants that would probably be near me would be open all night that sells ice cream? --%26gt; I'm new to this city. (college student)It's 1:30 AM - what major fast food restaurants are open all night that have ice cream?
you failed to mention where you are, but Burger King and McDonald's have ice creamIt's 1:30 AM - what major fast food restaurants are open all night that have ice cream?
Haven't got a clue where you are so can't really answer specifically. In my town, we have a 24-hour Mr. Pizzaman (something like that, I have the menu) that delivers 24 hours a day. They have some desserts but not ice cream. If we want ice cream at night, we just haul down to Safeway (which is open 24 hours a day) and buy the works to make the trip worth while--ice cream, fudgy sauce, caramel sauce, pineapple sauce, nuts, sprinkles, whipped cream, bananas, strawberries, cookies and Pepto Bismal. Don't you have 7-11 near you? Some of them stay open all night and the ones I've been in sell ice cream (and Slurpies).
Yeah, it depends on where you live, and I know I am a day late on this question, but figured if it was still open I could answer it and get some points. Like some other users have mentioned, McDonald's is open 24 hours, also sometimes Hardee's is too.
Around here, nothing really stays open 24 hrs. Except McDonalds, but they stop serving ice cream at 11 or so....Wendy's is open 24 hours and you can get ice cream stuff there. (frosty's, ect.) they got all kinds of ice cream goodies now . Oh! And so is Dairy Queen!
if you have a jack in the box nearby...try them

    yummy ice cream

and throw in a couple of tacos...2 for a buck!
Depends on where you are... but there are lots of McDonald's open 24 hours. They have ice cream...
McDonalds has fake ice cream... soft serve type

Denny's has real ice cream and they are 24 hours.

At what age do girls use professional skincare like day&night cream.?

Im 18 and I would like to upgrade my skincare regime. Now I only use either facial foam to wash my face (when im lazy) but when I have the time,I will use cleansing milk, toner and a face mask.

How do I prevent nasties like wrinkles(don't want them to start too early!) I have some pimples as I am still a teen and my skin is slightly oily.

Any suggestions of the age when a girl should start a proper routine would be greatly appreciated.

And girls, plz kindly do share with me your skincare routine!

Im a NOOB!At what age do girls use professional skincare like day%26amp;night cream.?
My mom started me out at 14 with the minor stuff.

    thank god.

Don't stick with the same routine too long, alternate the routine you like most with another one sometimes.

Try baking soda to exfoliate the dead skin cells.

Use sunscreen on sensitive areas: face, neck, hands, ears, well allover.

Never wear your makeup to bed. Try noxema or ponds to take it off.

Use preparation H for under your eyes and neck. Oh, and hands.

Try Aztec healing clay (mask), get it at a health food store, it's good.

Get a good firming/renewal cream for night and something lighter with sunscreen for day.

Clinique, Cetaphil, or neutragena are good soaps. Use a soft pad when cleaning your face.

Clinique astringent after that or try seabreeze.

Loreal hydrarenewal worked well for me then I alternated. Ponds is good, try the mexican one.

Concha cream is good for darker areas on skin.

I LOVE THE SUN, BUT IT DOESN'T DO JUSTICE. ALSO, DON'T FROWN, YOU DON'T WANT A LINE BETWEEN YOUR EYEBROWS.

WHEN SLEEPING, SLEEP WITH YOUR HEAD ON 1 PILLOW, SO YOU DON'T CRUNCH YOUR NECK.

BE GENTLE WITH YOUR SKIN, DON'T OVER DO IT!!!

TRY PUTTING A CLAYMASK ONLY ON PIMPLES AFTER YOU SHOWER. I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PIMPLES BUT I'D TRY PREPARATION H TO SHRINK THEM.

KEEP YOUR FACE CLEAN, FORGET ABOUT FOUNDATION TILL YOUR SKIN CLEARS UP, AND CARRY AROUND SOME NOXEMA SKIN PADS SINCE YOUR FACE IN OILY.

THE OIL CAUSES BUILD UP, WHICH CAN CAUSE PIMPLES.

THEY SAY AVEENO IS GOOD FOR THE SKIN, BUT OLAY, AND PONDS ARE GOOD.

TRY TO KEEP AWAY FROM PRODUCTS WITH TOO MUCH FRAGRANCE, IF POSSIBLE NONE. AND DON'T PICK ON FACE.

TRY THE HEALTHFOOD STORES FOR NATURAL PRODUCTS.

EVERYONES SKIN IS DIFFERENT, NO MAGAZINE HAS ALL THE FACTS. SO GET TO KNOW YOUR SKIN.

YOU CAN'T REMEDY WRINKLES AT 50 WITHOUT A DOCTER, SO KEEP IT UP NOW.

YOU ONLY HAVE ONE FACE REMEMBER?!!!!!At what age do girls use professional skincare like day%26amp;night cream.?
I do hope you recognized Angela B's response as sarcasm.

You really don't need any of that crap. If you don't want wrinkles, here's the best advice out there:

    1. Use sunscreen when outdoors - the sun causes more damage than anything.

    2. Drink plenty of water.

    3. Maintain balanced nutrition.

    4. Live a reasonably active lifestyle.

    5. Keep your skin clean and moisturized - and this doesn't require a medicine cabinet or counter full of expensive designer products, but a quality, eco-friendly cleanser (and toner, if absolutely necessary) %26amp; moisturizer will do. You can find natural, non-toxic products at many treehugger stores (aka organic food markets).

Don't buy into the Lancome bull.$hit. Most of those products have you putting toxins on your skin... and you're worried about premature aging! Just imagine what 40 years of applying poison to your face will do to it!

    Good luck.
I have very oily skin and approaching 30, and no wrinkles. I have started using clinique's puffing eyes cream. (it came in a free gift and I love it)

    - I wash with Nuetrogena Acne Stress foaming face wash

    - Nuetrogena Clear Pore toner

    - morning I use a tinted moisturizer with some spf

-night I use Skin Ceauticals moisturizer (its very light)

I have tried all sorts of products (proactive, and other expensive stuff) This is what has worked great for me.
Listen sister- you don't have a moment to lose! Run - don't walk- to the nearest cosmetics counter! A girl needs to start as soon as she hits puberty and buy the most expensive stuff you can afford!

I, too, hear the depressing sounds of the ice cream truck in my neighborhood. Sometimes at night. Sometimes in the afternoon. It reminds me of plane crashes and long hours left alone outside to play with ants.

sorry, it was an under cover move, and we were hoping that no one noticed, but since it is highly confidential I still cannot tell you every thing, the only thing I can say is that it had to do with Palin, 5 donuts and vanilla ice cream

Any recommendations for a new facial lotion and night cream?

I'm 29 and am interested in products that will help prevent wrinkles, but that aren't too expensive (under $25). My skin is pretty dry but not especially sensitive. I still occasionally get pimples.

Currently I'm using Dove Deep Moisture SPF facial lotion, but I don't really like it because it's not very moisturizing and it leaves my skin dull.

I'm also using The Body Shop's Vitamin E Night Cream, which I really like the feel of, but my boyfriend thinks it smells like his grandmother.

Any recommendations? Please include the price if possible.Any recommendations for a new facial lotion and night cream?
I like anything by Burt's Bees- the products smell good and are almost 99% natural. Most of their face creams go for under $15

Here's a link to their face moisturizers

(I use Beeswax Moisturizing Day Creme)Any recommendations for a new facial lotion and night cream?
I have tried so many skin care products and spent a small fortune looking for the perfect moisturizer. I found it in my kitchen cabinet. Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Pure Coconut Oil are both fountains of youth! You will NOT get an oily greasy face! Your skin will drink it right in and you will be amazed at the results. The EVOO solves dryness issues and also seems to even out skin tone. The coconut oil smooths out wrinkles and fine lines and smells heavenly. I suggest you try both for a week and see for yourself. Use the the EVOO and then coconut oil. You only need a few drops. The coconut oil comes in a jar and is hard until you warm it with your fingers. Then it turns to oil. So save your money and go to the kitchen. It's all there for you!
STAY AWAY from bath and body works because they are all fragrence and chemicals. ..

burts bees is good - but i recommend the madefromearth.com product line. . . .totally organic with no chemicals. . . .they have a great 3 Berry Face Serum, that has blueberry in it. . .

What should i do with the avon night cream?

I sell avon part time and this is my first campaign and i wanna do well.....When i got my start up kit I got a few items:the mistake proof mascara and avon rejuvenating night cream. Bc i cant buy the disposable wands yet to let people try the mascara ive decided to keep it for myself(hee hee)...but the night cream is something i have no idea what to do with. So what do i do with the night cream? Give it to the person who buys the most stuff? My mom says i should keep it and let people try it...i was thinking of buying mini containers and putting some of the night creme in there and letting people try it that way on their own is that a good idea? Plz i really need some help i really don't know what I'm doing lol. Any other suggestions would be helpful too. What should i do with the avon night cream?
If you let people try it, when you put it in mini containers you should wear gloves and use q-tips so you don't contaminate the cream. There are a lot of people complaining about contamination.

What I would do is keep it as a demo and when you have a customer who is interested in buying it, sell it to them for the price that is in the brochure or sell it to them at say, 10% off. It was free to you so you will make a little money from the sale. Or you could give it to a customer for a free gift if they buy other skin care products. Once she uses it she will be hooked and will buy from you in the future.

Oh yes, just so you know. I help my daughter-in-law with her Avon business. I love Avon. What should i do with the avon night cream?
Well, there a lot of different things you could do with the night cream. You could take your own advice and do it as a give-a-way. I wouldn't just give it to the person who buys the most though, I would enter everyone's name into a drawing who places an order. Second, you could see if anyone actually orders it and give it to them instead of ordering a new one. Third, you could keep it for yourself. It's never to early to start thinking about anti-aging. Believe me, I know!!

Good luck with your new business.

Do ice cream trucks have late night hours?

They operate during all daylight hours up until 9 or 10 in the evening. Once it starts to get dark they dont operate anymore as its too dangerous for the children.
The latest that ive heard an ice cream truck was 8 at night... i dont think they stay out past that...
It's probably just a cover for a coke smuggling operation.
sometimes usually during the hotter months.
No but its a great Idea. How about it me and you, we could start our late night ice cream team

They do but they can't play their music after 9pm. as it is against the law and they could be fined.
An ice cream truck late at night? Lets do a reality check here! Ice cream trucks target children. How many children are outside late at night? It's your crazy neighbor.
I notice they stop around 630 or 7pm.the latest. If he comes back later, he's probably buying supply, cleaning the truck, going to the bank to deposit, putting gas, etc, etc. now if it's late night, well....is he single? married? he's taking care of other business.....
    Its your crazy neighbor.
It's a drug dealer trying to cover it up. LOL!

My wife believes this is true, based on the opinions of her friends. I am wondering if there is any factual basis for this.Do children (2 year olds) get night terrors after eating ice cream at night?
';occasionally, your child may wake up from a nightmare. bad dreams are common among toddlers, who still cannot distinguish between imagination and reality. ofter if they hear a scary story or see violence on television, the images will stay in their minds, later cropping up as nightmares. and if they remember dreaming about a ';monster';, they may believe the monster is real.

when a nightmare awakens your toddler, the best response is to hold and comfort her. let her tell you about the dream if she can,and stay with her until she's calm enough to fall asleep.

your child will have nightmares more frequently when she's anxious or under stress. if she has bad dreams often, see if you can determine what's worrying her in order to ease her anxiety. for example, if she's having nightmares durring the period when she's being toilet trained, relax the pressure to use the potty and give her more opportunities to be messy through finger painting, or playing with her food. some of her anxieties may involve her separation from you, time spent in cihld care, or changes at home. talking can sometimes help prevent these stressful feelings from building up.

    at bedtime, put your toddler in a good frame of mind for sleep by playing quietly with her or by reading her a pleasant story. soothing music may also help calm her as she falls asleep, and a night-light will help reassure her if she wakes up.';

nope, nothing about ice cream...and dammit, my wrists hurt lol...Do children (2 year olds) get night terrors after eating ice cream at night?
I dont know if that is true or not?! My kids has only had a few night mares. And she is 2. She hasnt had them after eating icecream though. And she drinks a milk sippy every night while going to sleep.
No ice cream will not directly give a child night terrors. However if you eat something sweet before bed your little brain get get going and a dream can become a night terror. I have a 2 year old son who has had night terrors for the last 10 months. They can be brought on by stress and changes in thier life. They are scary and not to be mistaken for a bad dream. Here is a typical night terror night: My son goes to be at 8pm, by 9:45 or 10pm he is up and screaming, a scream like you have never heard, he has no idea we are there with him, he says things that are not understandable, he will cry but no tears will come out. He will pace and move around and then lie down where ever he is. This can go on for 10 - 40 minutes. He will usually go right back to sleep and not have any idea this has happened. He will wake up from it only 1 out of every 10 times. When he does wake up, he acts suprised that we are there with him. Like he has no idea we have spent the last 40 minutes trying to make sure he does not hurt himself.

They are not fun, and get him to a DR soon to get a true diagnoses. Give your child a strict routine, make sure they nap in the same place everyday, and eat at t he same time, and go to sleep at the same time same place. When we have a few weeks of a perfect routine and no stress or changes my son does great. BUt if things come up, we go to a party a weding, and overnight trip, it gets 10 times worse.

Good luch and night terrors are nothing to mess with your child can really get hurt or hurt someone.
My child get night terrors not based on what he ate, but I think his day activities. If he went to a unfamiliar place or encounter something that we found common ( like watching a simply family show) he would have night mares and cry and scream without ever waking up. I try to ceate a calm atmosphere before bedtime. MAybe his bathtime before bed or just sitting and reading to him. It helps sometimes but if we went out during the day, its hard to tell what he encounter that may trigger the night terrors at night
Sugar can have a great affect on a child's brain.

But not every child is affected by sugar.

refer to mayoclinic.com as a great resource.

Mostly this problem is insulin based.

Children with insulin problems need more protein.

My child has never reacted to sugar but I still only let him have it afternoons to 6pm latest.
I was informed by my pediatrician that certian foods can cause night terrors and one of the main ones was dairy products. You should ask your doctor.

Is good to use loreal day and night creams for face?

I`m 17 and i wanted to know is anything wrong if i use loreal creams ?I`m affraid my skin will become older using their products?please help meIs good to use loreal day and night creams for face?
Use as little cream as you need. If you don't have dry skin, then don't use special night creams.

A dermatologist told me that if you use too many creams, then your skin ';forgets'; how to regulate itself - and then your skin will really need them.

So go easy on the cream! I just wash my face once, not twice a day, and still have really young and healthy skin, and I'm 34 now!!Is good to use loreal day and night creams for face?
    Yes.
if its a face cream yes. if its makeup, no. use it more moderately.
You need to find age wise creams, stuff may be to strong.
that's about the dumbest question I 've heard all day
yeah its not neccessarily good but its not bad either..
17 andd your using night creams, hunni NO stick to a good MOISTRZER if oily use a gel based (clinique moisture gel for face)or dry (clinique moistrizing lotion) or normal either of the to will help. i use the clinuique three step and get comments on my skin EVERYDAY. so no night creams only is SEVERRELY dry and wait till yuo start gettin wrinkes (late 20s early 30s) then use those creams your still young those oilys arent gone yet and either is that acne.(in soem cases) hope i help.
Yes if its okayy as long its for ur face..dont be worried if ur breaking out cus of it or sumthing u might be alergic but if not...it good for ur face so dont worry about it..(:
At your age you don't need to be using a night cream. Night creams contain a higher percentage of oil to prevent dryness and wrinkles. If you start using it you will find it is to heavy and your skin may become oily and break out. I would just use the day cream morning and night and buy a hydrating eye cream instead of the night cream.
