Night and day cream?

do you think there is a difference most creams now for best results you have to use one for day and one for night is there different ingredients in the night cream or is it all a money racketNight and day cream?
I have been in the beauty skin care industry for over 20 years. It is a fact that the skin loses more moisture at night than in the day and also that the skin rids itself of unwanted pollutants and excess oil while we sleep.

A night cream can perform various functions depending on the skin need-some exfoliate, some moisturise and many others help tighten and firm-so be sure about what you want your night cream to do for your skin.

Day creams tend to be lighter in texture, some are oil free, some have SPF to protect from the sun and some have cosmetic benefits in making the skin appear more radiant and light reflective.

Some companies offer moisturisers that can be used day AND night too-so the best thing is to visit your nearest favourite skincare counter and get some advice.

If you want a day and night moisturiser I recommend SK-II Advanced Signs Treatment it is a miracle product!Night and day cream?
I honestly think as long as you moisturise then its all good.

I bought day and night cream and beleve that the day cream would be just as good overnight. The night cream is just thicker.....

Oh and then the manufacturers insist you need the eye cream and neck gel to match! A scam!!!!
night creams tend to be more moisturising than day

you dont have to pay a lot for a good cream though, as you will find most ingrediants are the same whether you pay a lot of money or not. try experimenting with some for a while to see which suit you better and all so it depends on your skin type which are better for you
Day time cream Has SPF And stuff for UVA, UVB Rays.... Remember at day time the skin is most stress, where at night it just to calm the skin plus repair it...
there is a difference yes! normally night stuff contains different ingredients! its kinda like using 2 different things tho, its so your skin wont get used to just one type of cream! also during the day, it will contain SPF and UVA and UVB too to protect your delicate skin! xx
Night cream tend to be richer in quality. However miho ce cream can be used for day or night time. Thus its one cream for all purpose. Helps to save your cost if you have budget constraint.

Product is sold exclusively online and not in any departmental store.
I used to think it was all phooie. Suddenly last fall I was asked to try a whole regime - I did only because I wasn't getting younger and my ';cheap'; products were not helping.

YES - at night our skin goes through different processes then during the day - so I would buy in to the theory - our face 'recovers' at night -

During the day you need a mild spf - you don't need those during your sleep.

My night cream has the following.

Aloe, sesame, sweet almond and wheat germ oils
Each has a different function, since the cells work differently during day and during night, see this link which will give you total insight. into it. Before seeing this, i had a similar doubts like you have, which is quite natural.

Hope this helps you.
day cream included by some UF protection
Night creams tend to be richer than day creams. It's best to use a separate one for day and night if your skin is dry.
if you have a dry skin then it is better to use a oily cream, use one for time and another one for nights. Go thro' www.haircareandmakeup.com
it is just a money racket. there is no difference. these products are made the same, and 99.9% have the exact same ingredients for the day and night cream.
the only reason i use 2 moisturisers is beacuse one has a sunscreen and its a waste to use that overnight.
Honestly, it depends on your skin and whether you have any skin care issues. I sell Arbonne products and they feature few different skin care lines. The set that I use has one cream to use day or night. During the day though you would definitely use something w/ an SPF of at least 30 and it should protect from both UVA and UVB rays.
